“Friends of ……” Travel Websites
In 2006 the Friends of Sorrento website was established to promote excursions, accommodation and customised itineraries for visitors to Sorrento and the Amalfi coast. The site now provides a highly personal service for pre-booking excursions, private tours and accommodation in partnership with service providers in Sorrento. Updated information on events, features and seasonal offers is also provided.
Scott Manning is responsible for overseeing branding, website design, all copy and media, ongoing management of website and social media content. Customer database development and email campaigns.
A web application for mobiles was also developed called Friends of Sorrento Travel Companion, providing access to events, guides, timetables, maps, videos and more. View details
Friends of Sardinia
Launched in 2009 Friends of Sardinia offers a range of online services to visitors including hotel search and booking, flights, ferries and car hire. 2014/15 will see the launch of Friends of Sicily under the “Friends of …..” brand.
